Counting The Days....

Well, I'm finally in my third trimester and have 11 weeks left. My appointments have moved to every two weeks now which is great because just means its getting closer. I had my glucose test Tuesday and failed it and go back Friday to sit for three hours for another glucose test. I'm not looking forward to it. The back pain is getting slightly worse. I seemed to never be able to get comfortable. My belly is growing everyday and my belly button is starting to pop out a little. It looks almost like a basketball has been stuck under my shirt. Steve has been having cravings too. When I eat, he eats. Its so cute though. Thought I would update a little about how the pregnancy is going!!

The First 25 Weeks!

So, it has been 25 weeks and it has been crazy, tiring, exciting, and unbelievable all at the same time. Its crazy how all these emotions can all be involved all at the same time. Here lately I've been experiencing severe backache. It seems like its constant and with Steve's back bothering him we are just a mess. I'm not for sure till next Tuesday how much weight I've gained but I definitely have put on some pounds. The only maternity clothes I have are pants and I have three shirts. My regular shirts are starting to not fit me like they used too and my belly is starting to come out of my t-shirts that I wear. Kenley is moving a lot. I love being able to feel her move around and she loves staying really close to me. I'm starting my third trimester and I'm excited knowing that she will be here soon. 15 weeks seems so far away but I know it will be here before I know it. The nursery is done. We just need to put her and all of her stuff in it and we will be ready. Here is a picture of my belly at 25 weeks!

23 Weeks...17 More To Go

Well, as of yesterday I'm 23 weeks and I'm starting to show. Kenley is definitely moving around more and more each day. She doesn't understand yet that when the lights go out, its bedtime. I'm feeling really good just the usual backache and wanting to eat all the time! Its fun though. We are starting on the nursery really soon and I can't wait. Her room theme is butterflies and we found her bedding. It is so adorable! We have the paint we just have to get in there and do it...because my husband just loves to paint and all. If you don't know him, that is the last thing he wants to do right now. Our next appointment is Feb. 12th and I have to have my glucose test done and get my blood drawn. I will be 26 weeks... I'm ready to see who this little person inside of me is and what she looks like. Not ready to show any pics of my belly yet but I'm sure they will come sooner or later!!

Christmas 2007

This was me and Steve's first Christmas together. I had so much fun during the holidays with him. We did Christmas in East Tennessee with his family the weekend before and had a big time. Hunter & Hayden were a force to be reckoned with there cousin Tyler. They had a blast. We came back home and woke up extremely early and did Christmas with Tyler which loved his new four-wheeler and then went to my parents. Kenley had a big Christmas also. She got some new clothes and a blanket. Steve and I had a big time too. I loved watching him open his presents. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS

December 18, 2007

It's A Girl!! Kenley JoyceAnn Letterman! December 18th, Steve and I went for our 18th week checkup and we got to find out if we were having a little boy or girl. I knew all along what she was. We were both very excited and so was Mama & Papaw (Steve's parents) and Nana and Grandad (My parents...grandad is still debatable.) Aunts & Uncles were happy, big brother wanted a boy but will be very protective of his new little sister and so will plenty of cousins. We are both very excited and can't wait till May 19th or earlier. Sorry Janet! She is supposed to be born on Steve's birthday so thats what I'm hoping for. Enjoy her ultrasound pictures!!

Just Another Chapter

I hope everyone enjoys reading our blog because it seems like a lot of fun to play around with. I'm really glad that Janet and Jeff (Steve's sister and brother-in-law) showed this to me so now relatives and friends from far away can see our little family and keep in touch with us a little better.
As most of you know Steve and I married November 3, 2007. We had a sweet ceremony. I loved it and I'm really glad that we can now start our lives together. Married life is great!! We both have our moments but I wouldn't trade being with him for the world. I'm also a new step-mom. I'm a little new with this but I adore Tyler to death. Its fun how I went from being single and living out on my own to this ready made family. Its crazy how life just puts things in front of you. I thank God everyday for giving me what I have and who I have in my life.
