Here are some updated pictures of Kenley! She is definitely changing everyday. She is 3 months old now and working on sitting up without falling over and trying to grab for things. Some things she can do is lay on her tummy and hold her head up really well and smiling more and more. She is a very happy baby but doesn't like to be out of her routine. She has always been a good sleeper and even more so now. Usually bedtime is around 8:30 and she wakes up around 8 in the morning. She eats more baby food now and definitely has her favorite things to eat. Next month we go back to the pediatrician and have her 4 month old shots...: (

Happy Birthday To ME!!!

Sunday, August 17th was my 22nd birthday! Sorry I had to post about it because my husband wouldn't get on here and do it. Steve and I went to the lake this weekend with friends and some family. It was fun and we both had a great time. I miss spending all my time with my husband. I definitely feel a lot older than 22 this year. I have had a lot of growing up to do just in the past year but it was worth it. So....I think after this year I'm going to stop having birthdays, ha! Thank you to everyone that called or texted me! Mama Letterman...thank you for the birthday card! Love you and thank you for raising a wonderful son!

The Last Little Birdie To Leave...

As of yesterday, Derek has officially left the nest. My mom, Laken, me and Kenley got him nestled into his new dorm with his roommate and off we left. It was a sad day but I didn't cry till today. My little brother who I see pretty much everyday is gone and will only hear from him through phone calls and the occasional visits home. He has pretty much lived with Steve and I and I'm gonna miss him. Derek got a scholarship to play football at Cumberland University in Lebanon and though its not far away, sometimes it seems like it. For the first time in 32 years, my mom and dad finally have an empty house and I think my mom has cried ever since. She cried the whole way home and during church today...poor thing. Mom says now her and dad actually have to talk to each other, ha. Love you Derek and always do the right thing and practice hard!

A few weeks ago we took a weekend trip to East TN to visit with Steve's family. They haven't seen Kenley since the week she was born and she is 11 weeks now so time really flies by. She changes so much and hope the get togethers will be more frequent now. We miss everyone! Here are some pictures from our visit.
