This year right before Christmas, we went to East TN for the weekend and spent Christmas with Steve's family. This year was extra special because now we had Kenley with us to enjoy this special holiday. I think I enjoyed it for her, she was more interested in the bows and wrapping paper. We had a great time with everyone!! We miss everyone and thank you for a great weekend! Love you all. Here are some pictures from our weekend.

Update...

Friday was Kenley's 6 month check up and this included getting more shots. She received the first dose of her flu shot and we got to see what her recent weight and height was. Since her last appointment she has been rolling over, crawling, and pulling herself up. She is now 27 1/2 inches long and is in the 93rd percentile for length and weighs 16.10 oz and is in the 50th percentile for weight. Her pediatrician said it was about time to change into a different car seat because she is getting too long for her other one. We go back in February for her 9 month check up! She is getting way too big way too fast. Its so sad...but fun and exciting also.

Kenley's 6 months party

I know I have it bad! She is my first child but I'm not the only one that spoils her. On my side she is the only grandchild and the first and of course she is a girl to top that off and Steve's side she is the only girl! Plenty of people help in spoiling her rotten! So we threw her a party. I made chili and vegetable soup for everyone and we had cake too. Yes, the cake did say, Happy 6 months Kenley. I told the woman at the bakery not to make fun of me for what she was about to write on this cake. She thought it was cute. She got some cute little toys to play with and some outfits. Enjoy the pics.

One Year Anniversary!

On November 3rd, Steve and I celebrated our first year of marriage. It doesn't feel like a year and we have both been through a lot but we wouldn't change none of it for the world. Monday was our anniv but I had class till that evening so Steve planned something special for us. He took me to the place we got married and it was lit up with candles and had flowers for me. We went out to eat that Saturday before and had a great time. I love being Mrs. Letterman and I'm so happy to be with my best friend! I love you!!

Kenley On the Go....literally

Kenley is over 6 months and yes I had her a little party, cake and everything. Well, she has been sitting up for a few months now and working on crawling. Yesterday, she took off! I was so excited to get to see her. Yes I taped it and took a ton of pictures. I sent out a massive txt message to family letting them know she was crawling. She is now getting into everything. I'm exhausted from keeping up with her. Its 3 pm and she just finally decided to take a nap. She is also pulling herself up and standing. Its so cute and can't wait for everyone to see her!

Titans Game

Steve and I with another couple went to the Monday Night Football game to watch the Titans & Colts game. It was a lot fun and cold!! I'm a big Cowboys fan but it was still awesome. They wanted a blue out and they definitely got one. I took some pictures and they turned out really good. Here are some from the game.

Julie & Me

About a month ago, Steve and I and another couple, Julie and Todd went to Gatlingburg for the weekend. We left on a thursday and came back Sunday afternoon. It was nice and relaxing to spend some quality time with Steve since we really don't get to spend time with each other. We stayed in a chalet in Gatlinburg and it was so beautiful. It overlooked the smokies and we were just above Ober Gatlinburg. We drove through Cade's Cove...and missed a bear and her cub! We made up for that by going to see the bears in the rain at Ober. We took a hummer tour, which was somewhat scary but fun too and we shopped and played put put golf. Steve has to take me to see the Ice Sculpture in Nashville because he lost a bet, ha! The weather wasn't the best in the world, it did rain some but it was still a great weekend. We had a lot of fun and it was nice to get away, even though we missed Kenley like crazy. I had a moment where I kind of wanted to go home because that was the longest I have been away from her. It was a good time shared by all. Here are some pics from our trip!
