Today we had Kenley's 2 month appointment, she is 9 weeks as of today! Yay! This visit consisted of getting her first round of shots, lets just say mommy didn't do well. She was poked three times and one that was oral given to her. I cried more and took it worse than she did. I hate seeing her in pain and watching her face and knowing that she was hurting just killed me. I had Steve go with me and as soon as we were done he put a bottle in her mouth and she was fine. She was a little fussy tonight as her tyenol wore off but Nana gave her a bath and she felt much better. Now the little princess is sleeping away and hopefully we can both get a good nights sleep. By the way, she is able to wear some 0-3 month outfits and I've already started a bag full of clothes she has outgrown. Here are her new measurements!
Weight: 10 lb 11 oz. Height: 22 in. long

Kenley Update!
Here are a few recent pictures of Kenley!! She has been changing so much in the past few weeks. She loves laying on her tummy to nap and has been raising her head up more and more each day. Of course she is still rolling over some, it takes her a few minutes to get on her belly but she gets there. She loves trying to talk to us and of course wants everyone to pay attention to her. She will let you know if she thinks you should be looking at her instead of someone else. We have been trying out new foods like bananas, apricots, carrots, and sweet potatoes. Next Monday we go back to the doctors office to have her first round of shots. I'm not looking forward to it at all. I'm hoping to get her ears pierced soon as well! We are getting into a routine now, especially at night. She definitley knows when she should be taking a bath and getting ready for bed. She is changing so much and is always doing something new and exciting! My daughter is so not photogenic if you can't tell, ha!

Two Special People!
I recently went back to the doctor for my 6th week checkup after I gave birth and Steve accompanied me. I wanted to get her picture made with two pretty amazing people, Dr. Geer and Michelle. Dr. Geer delivered Kenley and I wouldn't pick any other OB to have been there. Michelle is his nurse and a very dear friend to me and my family. I'm really close to her family and her husband, Sam, married Steve and I. They have two children, Shelby and Grant, who feel like my own. Michelle kept me calm and really helped me with my delivery! Thank you both!

Happy Fourth!
Fourth of July for our family started off on Thursday where we stayed at the lake all day Thursday and Friday. My parents always cookout and family and friends come over and the guys shoot fireworks! Kenley seemed to enjoy the fireworks this year! She stayed with Nana and Poppy while we were all at the lake and boy did I miss her. Needless to say, I left the lake early on Friday!
