Kenley Update!

Today Kenley is 6 weeks old and two weeks ago she rolled over for me! I was so excited but Steve wasn't here to watch her do it. Friday morning she was laying on the bed with us and Steve kept showing her how to roll over, what a goofball! Well, I guess she finally got the hint that her daddy wanted her do it, so she rolled over for him. It was so cute! I'm shocked because usually they don't do this that early but I'm so happy. I'm hoping to catch her in action so I can take a picture of her doing it!

I have been under the impression that I have let some people out while I have been posting our blog. (Sorry Brian & Sean) In my family mom always cooks all of us a bday meal, well bless her heart she is a little behind...I say "little" as in 3 months past our birthdays. Sunday, Brian had his bday meal and his birthday was in March and Sean had his in March and his birthday is in Jan. I didn't post about there birthdays on here so I will show them some love!! Needless to say they aren't getting any younger! Love you!

Kenley changes so much and we take pictures all the time so I thought I would post some new ones! She is becoming the photogenic baby I thought she would! Its just a good thing her mom loves taking pictures. She is also 5 weeks today her new milestone she reached was rolling over last night! She hasn't done it for her daddy yet but she got close today so hopefully he will get to see it soon. Enjoy the pictures!

Summertime!

When our family gets together to play cornhole (http://www.playcornhole.com/) and when we hit the lake we know its summer! This past Sunday we got together at my mom and dads to eat turkey and dressing (my favorite thing besides chicken & cornbread casserole) and play some cornhole! My brother Sean and Steve were undefeated for the longest time til Brian and Steph finally beat them. Here are a few pictures of us enjoying the day.

4 Weeks Old

Kenley is four weeks old today and has been making some pretty funny faces! Some new milestones she has reached are playing with her toys on her bouncy seat and looking at me when she hears my voice. She has been sleeping really good...6 hours! I'm so happy. I gave her cereal with formula and she loves it. It has also been helping her sleep I do believe! I know your not supposed to give them cereal yet but it doesn't seem to bother her so that is her treat at night after her bath. Here are more pictures of her making some pretty funny faces at me.

Tyler's Bday!

Tyler turned 10 on Saturday, June 14th. He is in double digits now. When Hunter & Hayden come visit again...they get to play with a Wii!! Here are some pics of Tyler opening his cards from Mamaw & Papaw and Uncle Jeff, Aunt Janet, Hunter, & Hayden!

Happy Father's Day!!

As everyone knows today is Father's Day and I was so excited to get Steve something for his first father's day with Kenley, I even think I saw I tear come to his eye so I knew I had done a good job, ha! I married an amazing man. He has been such a great husband and father and I'm so lucky to have him in all of our lives. I'm very thankful that he has put up with me and I really don't know what I would do without him! We love you honey and hope you had a great Father's Day!!

I would also like to wish my dad and Frank (Steve's dad) a Happy Father's Day! They are both great fathers and I think Steve would agree with me that we wouldn't be who we are if it wasn't for them. We love you both very much!!

First Doctors' Visit

Today, June 2nd, was Kenley's first dr.'s appt. This was her two week check up and I was so proud of her. She did so good being out and about! She weighed 7 lbs. and 14 oz. and 20.5 inches long. She is getting big...I guess thats from all the hiccups she has been getting, ha. She is starting to focus in on my face more and is trying to hold her head up! I can't stop looking at her and noticing all of her changes. Here are some pics that I took today when we got back home!

First Vacation!

Last Thursday we left for Destin, FL for my brother Sean's wedding and this was Kenley's first vacation! She went to the beach and was in the pool for the first time! She was such a good baby the entire trip. Everyone was bragging on her and wanted to see her!
