Wow...What A Year!

It has been a year since my last post and yes it has been crazy. We welcomed Kason into our family and this first year has been so fun watching the little man grow up! Even though...I miss him being my cuddly little baby. Kenley is soon to be 3 years old and has always something to say that makes me and Steve laugh or wonder...which one of us did she take that after? I finally did it!!! I GRADUATED!! I also work now at Lighthouse Learning Academy teaching 3 and 4 year olds. It is so much fun and they are a great group. I love them to death. I now have a new nephew who was born in May. He is such a sweetie and I just love watching him and Kason play together. We moved closer to my parents which is very helpful and nice to be closer to everyone. Not only did we have a lot of great times we shared some sad moments this year as well. April 17th, we lost my father-in-law very unexpectedly. That was a hard time knowing he wouldn't be around anymore. I think in a lot of ways we are all still grieving over his loss because it was such a shock to everyone. Steve also lost his grandmother a month after Frank passed. This year was definitely a tough one. I miss them both and its especially hard because Kason didn't get to know his grandfather and Kenley is still so small. She still remembers him and I'm so thankful she does.

This is for you Crystal...

I know it has been a while since my last post! I'm very sorry for those who have kept up with our family through this blog. Last summer I took 9 hours of summer school so I was really busy with that along with keeping up with Kenley. A lot has definitely happened since my last blog. I have 4 weeks till Steve and I welcome Kason Boyd into the world. We are very excited but nervous because we are going to have two little ones to keep us busy. I'm still in school. This is my last semester before I student teach and GRADUATE in the fall! I'm so excited and hoping this semester will cooperate with me while I'm having a newborn. Kenley is growing up so fast. She is getting taller by the minute. Here are some pics of Kenley and can't wait to post some of Kason when he gets here.

Been Too Long-Quick Update...

Sorry that I haven't posted anything in a while. Nothing much has really been going on except that Steve and I are expecting again. The baby is due February 26th, at least that's the date so far. We go back to the doctor on September 28th to determine the sex of the baby. Can't wait!!

Kenley is getting so big. She is getting so heavy and really smart. We know a lot of animals, please/thank you, some body parts, and of course food words. She learns something everyday...I love watching her. I can't wait to see what her weight and height are when we go back to the pediatrician in Dec. Its so hard to believe she is 15 months.
Just thought I would give a quick update and let everybody know what's going on in the lives of the Letterman's.

Summer Fun

Sorry it has been such a long time since my last post. It doesn't feel like we have been busy but it has been somewhat crazy around here. I'm taking 9 hours of summer school and keeping up with a little one that is interested in getting into EVERYTHING. Overall, we are having a great summer! Here are a few pics from the 4th of July. Kenley was a little swimmer on the lake. She absolutely loved it and enjoyed the water.

Giraffes, Zebras, and Elephants...OH MY

There was actually a huge shark right at the girls but you can't see it.

May 20th, my friend, Jonna, her daughter Laken, Kenley, and myself went to the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere. It was a lot of fun and especially to get out of the house and do something educational and it being Kenley's first trip to the zoo. We saw all sorts of animals and had a great time. I hope Kenley enjoyed it. She really seemed to have fun looking at things she had never seen before. I'm hoping to get to the Knoxville Zoo soon, heard its great. Enjoy the pictures.

Happy Birthday Aunt Janet
